Dr Mustapha PopoolaTechnical Assistant to ES, TETFundMustapha Ayodele Popoola PhD (Technical Assistant to the Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Trust Fund, TETFund on Research & Development Matters) is an Associate Professorial Fellow of Global studies at the Centre of Excellence on Migration and Global studies, National Open University of Nigeria, Presently he is the Coordinator, Technical Coordination Team(TCT)` of the Tetfund’s Research and Development Standing Committee(RDSC) inaugurated by Hon Minister of Education with an overarching goal of promoting the establishment of National Research and Development Foundation in Nigeria within the context of Quadruple helix model.
He is the Chair of the innovative agricultural postgraduate training programme being facilitated by the African Union arm on Agricultural research – Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) in collaboration with TETFund Known as Agricultural Research & Innovation for Africa (ARIFA) which is a flagship program of FARA geared toward the capacity strengthening of a new generation of agriculturist for value addition on the African Continent. He is serving on the National Research & Development Foundation Executive Bill drafting committee among other national assignments. MAP is the Convener of Business to Business (B2B) Nigeria with membership across 5 continents, leveraging the innovative continuous and lifelong business education platform provided by B2B Nigeria through her monthly business priming, pitching and networking session.
He is a visiting researcher at Mississippi state university, Starkville, USA and was at the University of Molise, Campobasso, Italy and the Institute of Farm Animal Biodiversity, Wels, Austria for his post-doctoral works.
He is a Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria, Development Practice Academy, Chartered Institute of Corporate Mentoring and Coaching of Nigeria and Institute of Management Consultant. Besides, he is a certified Commercial Diplomat, City of London, UK. He is happily married with Children.
